Background

NEDonBoard, the UK’s professional body for non-executive directors and board members, approached Agaetis with a clear challenge: modernise their brand identity and digital presence to better reflect their evolving mission. With a growing community and expanded service offerings, they needed a cohesive brand experience that would not only represent their credibility and leadership but also speak to a new generation of boardroom talent.

Agaetis was brought on to refresh their visual identity and redevelop the website — aiming to align every touchpoint with their forward-looking vision while giving them a distinctive edge in a competitive market.

Brand Idea

Our goal was to reposition NEDonBoard as a modern, trusted authority in corporate governance — a brand that reflects leadership, clarity, and confidence. The updated identity blends professionalism with accessibility, signaling growth and relevance to both seasoned board members and emerging leaders.

The visual language was built around balance: bold but refined typography, a confident but welcoming colour palette, and graphic systems that convey structure, trust, and modernity.

Website Concept

The new website was designed as a digital extension of the brand — intuitive, content-rich, and conversion-optimised. We prioritised a clean user interface that supports seamless navigation through educational resources, events, memberships, and application flows.

The design enhances user trust and clearly communicates NEDonBoard’s value proposition while elevating the overall experience. Every element was built with scalability in mind — flexible enough to grow with the organisation and agile enough to support new initiatives.

Approach

We began by diving deep into NEDonBoard’s existing brand architecture, user journeys, and competitive landscape. Through stakeholder interviews and market research, we uncovered the need for a more confident brand voice, clearer messaging, and a modernised experience that reflects the credibility of the organisation.

From there, we developed a brand system that could scale — including new typography, colour systems, visual guidelines, and iconography — all tailored to convey authority and approachability. On the development side, we rebuilt the website from the ground up with performance, accessibility, and content structure at the core.

We implemented a component-based design system and CMS flexibility to ensure the internal team could manage content easily while maintaining brand consistency.

Results

The rebrand and new website launched successfully — repositioning NEDonBoard as a leading force in the board-level professional space.
