We are seeking a Junior WordPress Developer who is enthusiastic about web development and eager to grow their skills in a collaborative and dynamic environment. You will assist in the creation, customization, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites, working closely with designers, content creators, and senior developers. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about clean code, responsive design, and user-focused digital experiences.
Junior WordPress Developer Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining responsive WordPress websites
- Customize existing WordPress themes and plugins based on project requirements
- Work with the design team to implement UI/UX designs into functional WordPress pages
- Help ensure websites are optimized for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WordPress sites, including plugin conflicts and performance concerns
- Support content updates and formatting within the WordPress CMS
- Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality digital solutions on time
Junior WordPress Developer Requirements and Qualifications :
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with WordPress CMS, including themes, plugins, and the Gutenberg block editor
- Experience with WordPress page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or similar is a plus
- Understanding of PHP and MySQL at a beginner level
- Familiarity with basic SEO best practices for web development
- Willingness to learn version control systems such as Git
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and a desire to build user-friendly websites
