The UK’s only end-to-end worktop & tabletop retailer

Background

House of Worktops is a premium UK-based manufacturer and supplier of sustainably sourced wooden kitchen worktops. Since 2018, Agaetis has been a strategic partner from the ground up — shaping the brand, designing the first website, and continuously refining the digital experience to reflect the company’s growth, evolving offerings, and user expectations.

From a challenger brand to a recognised name in the home improvement space, House of Worktops has trusted us to craft and optimise every layer of its digital journey.

Brand Idea

Our goal from day one was to build a brand that reflects craftsmanship, quality, and sustainability — while standing out in a highly competitive space. We positioned House of Worktops as a premium yet accessible lifestyle brand, built on a foundation of authenticity and customer trust.

The identity emphasises natural elegance: warm tones, clean typography, and product imagery that highlights the tactile beauty of wood. It’s a brand that balances design and function — just like the products it represents.

Website Concept

The website has evolved alongside the brand — becoming more intuitive, content-rich, and performance-focused with every iteration. We developed a high-converting e-commerce platform that simplifies complex product decisions through guided navigation, worktop configurators, and tailored educational content.

Our UX strategy has consistently focused on reducing friction, increasing clarity, and supporting both first-time buyers and trade customers through thoughtful design and functionality.

Approach

We began with foundational brand strategy and identity design, then translated that into a digital experience that could grow over time. Every stage of the partnership — from initial launch to major redesigns — has been grounded in user behaviour, business goals, and market shifts.

On the technical side, we’ve implemented scalable backend systems, continuous SEO optimisation, responsive performance improvements, and modular CMS structures that allow for fast updates and new feature rollouts.

Through ongoing A/B testing and analytics-driven enhancements, we continue to fine-tune the site for better engagement, reduced drop-offs, and higher conversion rates.

Results

Over five years of close collaboration, House of Worktops has grown into a trusted brand with a strong digital presence and loyal customer base.

  • 5+ years of continuous UX and performance improvement
  • +40% increase in e-commerce conversions since major redesign
  • Reduced bounce rates through targeted UX enhancements
